Adding Objects, Bat Spray Paint, Bat Writing and France

Hello Parents! We had a busy Friday here in K2B. We started the day hearing about Lyle’s exciting time with Mio. After that, we practiced adding and making addition sentences. In Literacy, the students wrote down facts about bats and story events from “Stellaluna.” In the Discovery Center, the kids learned all about France and in Art class we made bat pictures by spraying white paint onto black paper.

For homework, please complete the bat math handout. As always spend some time reading to or with your child on Raz kids and/or with their library books.

Next week I will be absent so Ms. Ina and Ms. Lady will be here to sub for me. Please note that we will miss our regularly scheduled swimming class as Monday is a holiday and we have no school. However, Mr. Ben is available to teach a makeup class on Thursday afternoon. Therefore, please remember to pack your child’s swim suit on Thursday.
