Good afternoon parents! I hope you all had a lovely day yesterday! Today the kids reviewed and practiced adverbs once again. We compared the plot of two stories in Literacy, and placed our names on a measuring tape display in the classroom in Math. We also spent some time putting our pictures on a big map to see where everyone’s family comes from.

We apologize for the homework mix up on Tuesday. Tonight please complete Week by Week Phonics pages 141-143. Also, please finish page 16 chapter 12 in Math Workbook. As always, spend some time reading with or to your child. Feel free to read the library books from our classroom library as well.

As you know, this month’s theme is “World Studies.” For our art auction, K2B will be working together to create quilts. Please if possible, send with your child any fabric that could represent your family’s culture so we can try and incorporate it into the quilt. Have a great evening!

Lastly, there was a letter send home last Friday regarding playground rules during and after school. Please take time to remind your child of these rules so that all children can be safe and have fun on the playground! Thank you!

-Ms. Megan :)
