'aw,' Weight, Floating Art, Boat Paintings

Happy Friday everyone! We had a busy Friday as usual today. The kids are almost finished with Jolly Grammar. We practiced spelling the ‘aw’ sound and finished writing up our story webs in Literacy. In Math we weighed classroom objects with a scale and made predictions about what items would be heavier and lighter. In the Discovery Center, the kids made really cool floating art work. Last but not least, in Art class we painted beautiful pictures of boats and sunsets.
For homework, please practice reading with our Raz Kids program as well as practice reading some story books to or with your child. Please find my letter about our upcoming Literacy program as well. If you want to see Lyle and the pictures we made in the Discovery Center, please check the website.
Have a wonderful weekend!
