Speech Marks, Plot, and Measuring

Happy Tuesday everyone! Today in Phonics, the students and I learned about speech marks and reviewed full stop, question marks, and exclamation points. In Literacy we broke down a story plot and decided what parts was the beginning, middle, and end. Lastly, in Math we continued measuring and even used student bodies to measure the wall in our classroom!

For homework, please complete Week by Week Phonics pages 131-133. In Math Workbook, please finish Chapter 11 page 9. As usual, please also spend some time reading to or with your child.

Also, please make note that we will hold our Chinese New Year celebrations this Friday from 8:45-10:15. Therefore, Our Freaky Friday theme will switch with next week to Chinese Costume/Red Day. Have a wonderful evening!
