'nk' and Raining Hearts

Happy Thursday! Today the kids learned the ‘nk’ sound and practiced reading and writing words with that sound. In Math class we kept with the theme of our story “The Day it Rained Hearts,” and made addition equations out of hearts and glued them to umbrellas. In Literacy, the kids continued writing about what they would do if it rained hearts.

For homework, please complete the Math handout. As always, please spend some time reading with your child.

Please remember we need each child’s secret valentine card in our Valentine mail box tomorrow. Also, don’t forget tomorrow is our charity bake sale! The A classes had a great turn out today so I am excited to see how it goes for us tomorrow! Have a wonderful afternoon!
