Special Y, Writing Completion, and the Quarter

Hello again! Today the students practiced reading words with ‘special y’ and finished their topic writing. In Literacy we did some independent reading and in Math we learned all about the quarter.

For homework tonight, please complete pages 122 and 123 in Kindergarten Workbook 2 and Math Workbook pages 14, and 15. Also spend some time reading and reviewing tricky words. I have noticed a big improvement in the kids overall reading abilities so keep up the practice at home!

I would also like to ask that you please send your child to school with an empty 500 mL plastic water bottle for a Science experiment we will be doing next week.
