'igh,' Nickels, and Winter Vacation Topic Writing

Hello Parents! Today the kids and I went over the ‘igh’ sound and began a topic writing assignment about the New Year. We also continued learning about coins and compared the nickel to other coins.

For homework tonight, please complete pages 101 and 102 in Week by Week Phonics as well as Math Workbook, Chapter 10, pages 8 and 9. Please also spend some time reading with your child and reviewing tricky words.

Just a reminder, we are in week b and will therefore have swimming class tomorrow. Have a wonderful afternoon and evening!
