A New Year!

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful vacation! We are all happy to be back and the kids have so much to share about their time away from school. Today the students and I reviewed our parts of speech and practiced locating nouns in a picture and nouns in a sentence. We also completed our monthly self portrait and began learning and comparing American coins.

For homework, please complete page 30 in I’m a a Writer as well as Math Workbook Chapter 2 pages 1, 2, and 3. As always remember to read for 10-20 minutes each night and review tricky words. If you’d like, there is a few videos posted to the website that you can watch at home.
