"wh" sound and Counting Board Games

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you had a nice weekend! Today the students practiced the sound “wh” in Jolly Phonics. We spent some time doing dictation exercises with this sound as well as other sounds that we have been learning in class. In Math, the kids partnered up and played a counting board game.

For homework, please complete page 29 in “I’m a Writer.” As always, please review tricky words and spend 10-20 minutes reading at home with your child.

Please note that we have sent home a letter about our K2 Christmas party this Friday. Our students in K2B understand that this is not only a Christmas celebration but a reward for earning 100 stars in the “star jar.” As of now we have 97 so the kids need to get 3 more by Friday in order to have our celebration (I’m sure they can do it!)
