Short Vowel Past Tense Verbs, Sending Letters to the North Pole, and Calendar Review

Hello Parents! Today the kids and I learned how to make past tense verbs with a short vowel word. In Literacy, we addressed our envelopes to Santa and sent our letters off to the North Pole. In Math, the kids reviewed how to read a calendar.

For homework tonight, please complete pages 91, 92, and 93 in Week by Week Phonics as well as Chapter 9 page 11 in Math Workbook. As always, review tricky words and spend a little time reading at home.

Thank you to those of you who have returned the slip about the upcoming PTO this Friday. We are excited to spend another fun morning with you and the students. Just a reminder, we have no school tomorrow. Have a nice afternoon!
