Past Tense Verbs, Days and Months, Christmas Ornaments, and Ocean World Excitement

Hello and happy Wednesday! Today the kids worked on past tense verbs and ordered the days of the week and the months of the year. In Social Studies, the kids and I had a great time making Christmas ornaments for our K2B Christmas Tree.

For homework, please complete pages 89 and 90 in Week by Week Phonics and Chapter 9 pages 4-5 in Math Workbook. As always, please spend some time reading and reviewing tricky words.

As I mentioned yesterday, please send in a glass jar by tomorrow for a project we will partake in next week. I’ve posted a photo on the website if you’d like to see an example. If you have any extra jars, please send them as well in case we have students without a jar to bring. Thank you!

Don’t forget tomorrow is our Father’s Day celebration and our field trip to Ocean World! Your child does not need to bring anything except their water bottle to school tomorrow. Our Father’s day celebration will begin at 8:00am. If you purchased the charity polo shirt, please allow your child to wear it tomorrow as it is our official field trip shirt!

We have no school on Friday as you all know so have a wonderful 3 day weekend if I don’t see you tomorrow.
