Long O, Part of the Day, Suk Fair Performance Video and SNOW!

Hello parents! The kids and I had a really fun day today. We started the morning practicing our long O sounds and blending simple words. After that, we went to the Discovery Center and played with real snow! We built snow people, made snow balls, and had an overall amazing time. In Math we learned about different parts of the day in relation to the sun.

For homework, please complete pages 86, 87, and 88 in Week by Week Phonics as well as the Math handout. Please also spend some time reading and reviewing tricky words.

Next week in the Discovery Center, the kids are going to make their own holiday candles. We are requesting that parents send in label free glass jars by Thursday so that we can make our candles next week. Your child only needs one jar but if you have any extra please send it for those students who may not have one. Thank you so much!

Lastly, we’ve decided to make one more order of our ASB Kindergarten charity polo shirts. If you or your child would still like a polo shirt please send in your order request as soon as possible! Those of you who have already ordered will receive your shirts today. Have a wonderful evening!
