Long I, Writing Catch Up, and Discovery Center Adventures

Happy Freaky Friday! Today the kids were very busy. We spent the morning practicing long I sounds and doing various dictations with long and short vowel words. Also, we spent time completing some of the work in our writing portfolios. We then went down to the Discovery Center and the kids and I observed beta fish, crabs, and guppies in our super awesome under water display. Last but not least, our K2B class is once again are the Change for Change champions! Thank you to all the parents who continue to contribute to our change bucket.

There is no workbook homework this weekend, please just spend some time reading stories and reviewing tricky words.
