Consonant Blends, Number 12, and Topic Writing

Good afternoon everyone! Today in class, the students and I talked about consonant blends. We practiced putting two sounds together to make one. In Math, we learned about the number 12 and in Literacy the students continued topic writing about oceans.

For homework tonight, please complete pages 76, 77, 78 in Week by Week Phonics and chapter 7 pages 22 and 23 in Math Workbook. As always please review tricky words. Additionally, please spend some time reading with your child each night. Reading practice at home gives each student to more opportunity to use the phonics and grammar skills that they learn in class.
