Bullying, Number 9, and Reading Groups

Happy Thursday! Today the kids and I did a lesson on bullying and discussed what it means to be a bully and whether or not any of us have ever met a bully. Please check the website for some useful videos to show your child about bullying. I’ve also posted some new information in the resources section about bullying awareness. In Math class we learned all about the number 9 and in Literacy we spent some time in leveled reading groups to practice new reading strategies.

For homework tonight, please complete page 71, 72, and 73 in Week by Week Phonics as well as Math Workbook Chapter 7 pages 7, 8 and 9. As always practice your child’s tricky words if necessary and spend some time reading a story or signing on to the Raz Kids website for reading practice.

Tomorrow is a new Freaky Friday and the theme is Sukhumvit Fair shirts! I’m looking forward to a comfortable day tomorrow!
