Two Sounds for 'OW,' Probability, and Writing About Halloween

Welcome to November parents! Today the students learned that ‘ow’ makes two different sounds. One sound is long O and the other sounds like our Jolly Phonics sound OU. In Math the students began learning about probability and predicting what will happen based on what we already know. For literacy, we wrote some sentences about Halloween Day.

For homework tonight, please complete page 23 in I’m a Writer and Math Workbook Chapter 5, pg 26 and 27. Some students should also have a new tricky word card. Please review these words to prepare for another tricky word assessment this Friday.

Have an awesome Monday and great start to the week everyone!

-Ms. Megan :)
